“LIVE” at Taste Washington 2015 – Episode 110

SEASON 4 FINALE

Another season of your favorite Internet wine show is about to come to a close, and it’s been our biggest year yet!  Nearly 4 MILLION views of the show over the past 9 months, and for the first time, we were invited to do the show “Live” at Taste Washington.   So while we were they, we tape our season finale, full of some unique Red Blend.  Matter of fact, both wines have the exact same top three ingredients.  Watch as the panelists (and our live audience) have a fun time figuring out what’s inside these bottles.   The wine was delicious, and so were this episode’s Twitter hash tags:

#RedBlend  #TasteWashington  #SeasonFinale  #wine  –— Use these as you Tweet about @NWWineNight

WINE FEATURED IN THIS EPISODE:  To make it easier for you to follow along and make a few notes, we’re going to tell you something the panelists NEVER know until they pick their favorites: The names of the wines, and which is number one, and which is number two…

1.——-2011 Cuvee’ Arlette – Lauren Ashton Cellars, Woodinville WA   (Merlot, Cab Franc, Cab Sauv)

2.——2012 The Conjurer – Sleight of Hand Cellars, Walla Walla WA   (Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot)

Host Brian Calvert, who is heard on KOMO Newsradio and seen on KOMO News, enlists his friends in Northwest media and wine-making circles to be on each panel.  At the table this week:

Marina Rockinger — heard on Star 101.5fm in Seattle

Denise Whitaker  — Seen on the KOMO 4 Morning News

Sandra Lee — Madame President of Woodinville Wine Country

Yashar Shayan — Sommelier and owner of ImpulseWine.com
