Wine Party Politics – Episode 96

EPISODE 96

If you’re new to the show, the entire purpose of Northwest Wine Night is to encourage you to “Cork Local.”  In other words, if you’re going to drink wine, why not support winemakers right here in the Northwest?  On each show, we introduce you to two of those winemakers, so you have two more ideas the next time you need wine.  Pretty straight forward, right?  On this episode, besides one of our stars running for office, and another breaking down in hysterical laughter, the panel was split over the wines.  It’s the perfect scenario for us, and simply means you’re really going to have to try both ones to determine which might be your favorite!  The wine was delicious, and so were this episode’s Twitter hash tags:

WINE FEATURED IN THIS EPISODE:  To make it easier for you to follow along and make a few notes, we’re going to tell you something the panelists NEVER know until they pick their favorites: The names of the wines, and which is number one, and which is number two…

2.———-2013 Rose – Maryhill Winery, Goldendale WA

Host Brian Calvert (Twitter @BrianCalvert), who is heard on KOMO Newsradio and seen on KOMO News, enlists his friends in Northwest media and wine-making circles to be on each panel.  At the table this week:
