Have you seen much of the sun lately? It’s that time of year, lots of gray days, and most of us are eager for late spring and summer. While we can’t control the weather, we did two forms of sunshine for you: We begin with some really fun outtakes, and we found some sunshine in a glass. On this episode, we’re tasting two bottles of northwest-made Pinot Gris. Each of them with a very unique character, and the panelists enjoyed them both. The wine was delicious, and so were this episode’s Twitter hash tags:

WINE FEATURED IN THIS EPISODE: To make it easier for you to follow along and make a few notes, we’re going to tell you something the panelists NEVER know until they pick their favorites…the names of the wines, and which is number one, and which is number two…
1.———-2008 Pinot Griggio, Leone Italian Cellars, Zillah Wa
2.———-2012 Pinot Gris, Solena Estate, Yamhill OR
PANELISTS: We’re joined this time by regular favorites Marina Rockinger of Star 101.5 in Seattle and Denise Whitaker of KOMO 4 News. Corwin Haeck of KOMO Newsradio returns for more wine, as does winemaker Shane Howard of Pondera Winery.
FILMING LOCATION: We’re right in the middle of the Warehouse District of Woodinville Wine Country. Our hosts this time are fabulous at blending good wine with really cool art. We’re at Pondera Winery, and appreciate everything they did to make this filming really great!
