It’s amazing to think that we’re three seasons into Northwest Wine Night, and we can still celebrate a “first” on the show. We do just that be tasting Petite Syrah for the first time. One of the panelists even creates a new descriptive term, and these two wines are so good, they caused a “split panel.” So grab a glass of locally made wine, and get ready to enjoy being introduced to two more bottles of the Northwest’s Best Wine. The wine was delicious, and so were this episode’s Twitter hash tags:

WINE FEATURED IN THIS EPISODE: To make it easier for you to follow along and make a few notes, we’re going to tell you something the panelists NEVER know until they pick their favorites…the names of the wines, and which is number one, and which is number two…
1.———2010 Zephyr Ridge, Thurston Wolfe, Prosser WA
2.——–2010 Petite Syrah, Forgeron Cellars, Walla Walla WA
PANELISTS: We’re joined this time by regular favorites Marina Rockinger of Star 101.5 in Seattle and Seth Wayne of KOMO 4 News. Also at the table is Sandra Lee of Woodinville Wine Country, and the very fun Kelly Koopmans of KOMO 4 News.
FILMING LOCATION: We’re right in the middle of the Warehouse District of Woodinville Wine Country. Our hosts this time are fabulous at blending good wine with really cool art. We’re at Pondera Winery, and apprecaite everything they did to make this filming really great!
