“Live” at Taste Washington! – Episode 99

For the very first time in the show’s history, we did it “live” in front of the thousands of people who attended Taste Washington the weekend of March 28 & 29 at CenturyLink Exposition Hall.  What a fun time we had!  Fans of the show were able to watch as we filmed this episode, some even came up on the set afterwards for pictures.  And true to Northwest Wine Night TV style, we tasted two really good wines, Syrah this time around.  The wine was delicious, and so were this episode’s Twitter hash tags:

#TasteWashington  #Syrah  #BeefJerky  #ThickBold&Beautiful  #wine  –— Use these as you Tweet about @NWWineNight

WINE FEATURED IN THIS EPISODE:  To make it easier for you to follow along and make a few notes, we’re going to tell you something the panelists NEVER know until they pick their favorites: The names of the wines, and which is number one, and which is number two…

1.———-2011 She Devil Syrah – Bergevin Lane Vineyards, Walla Walla WA

2.———2012 Lost Soul Syrah – Mark Ryan Winery, Woodinville WA

Host Brian Calvert (Twitter @BrianCalvert), who is heard on KOMO Newsradio and seen on KOMO News, enlists his friends in Northwest media and wine-making circles to be on each panel.  At the table this week:

Marina Rockinger (Twitter @MarinaRockinger) heard on Star 101.5fm in Seattle
