(2019) What happens when Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, Hee Haw, and red wine come together? You’re just going to have to watch and see.
On this week’s episode, we taste a couple of bottles of Northwest-made Syrah. One of the panelists makes a remark about a “drinkin” wine and a “eatin” wine, and laughter ensues. Host Brian Calvert drew the line when this same panelist aimed his sights on Big Bird, but all it took was a “Tickle Me Elmo” to get this party back in gear. Confused? Blame the wine!
So, grab a glass of wine, and get ready for some fun! We’ll taste two wines, talk about them, play a game, then reveal what we’ve been tasting…all in about 10 minutes. The idea is to encourage you to try the same wines, and support our local producers! If you’re on Facebook, like us (NorthwestWineNight). If you’re on Twitter, follow us (@NWWineNight) and you can find us on Instagram as well (NorthwestWineNight).
Remember, this is a blind-tasting, so if you don’t want to know the wines featured on the show…STOP READING HERE! After the show, come back & see the names of both the “Wine Orange” & the “Wine Blue” tasted on this episode.
